Simplify - the value of simplicity in photography

The pursuit of most nature photographers is to convey a message or an emotion using composition, light, colors, subject - or all of the above. The more details that are present in the scene, the more challenging it becomes to make a well composed image. After all, humans can only take in a certain amount of information at one time. It isn't impossible, just more challenging.

Simple images can convey that message or emotion without being plain or boring. If done right, simplicity can make a lasting impression on the viewer.
