Tiny lake, Joshua Tree National Park
During a recent visit to Joshua Tree National Park, I encountered some very wet and cold weather, but the after effects made for some fun photography. There are small depressions in the monzo-granite rocks all over the park. Most of these are only a couple feet across. Amazingly, many of these had already dried up by the following morning but those that remained became world's tiniest lakes that I used as the foreground in some landscape images.
