Lost Dutchman State Park

Lost Dutchman State Park is a great location to go hiking but as landscape photography goes, you have pretty much one option and that is the striking outcropping of rocks that the park is known for. Finding a unique composition can be a challenge. Thankfully, these cholla cacti were conveniently located to provide a nice foreground for the rising sun. Getting a nice sunstar requires using a small aperture. In this case, I set mine to f/22.
