A different kind of forest
Cacti forest
While the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona is one of the best places to see Organ Pipe Cacti, it is also home to the famous Saguaro cactus. These cacti can grow up to 25 arms but some never grow arms at all. I was drawn to the vertical lines this group created and thought this view was different than most any other photos I had seen of these cacti. The Sonoran desert is a brutal and amazing environment and one with endless possibilities for nature photography.
